Instrument Specialist

  This role provides day to day technical support of instrumentation, control valves, AMS, and other supporting equipment to maintenance technicians and operations supporting the IPOD units of the CVO complex.     RESPONSIBILITIES    Accountable for day to day technical support of unit Instrumentation Oversee implementation of instrumentation scope of expense, capital, and general improvement projects in assigned process units Support AMS Site Initiatives and interface with AMS Specialist Update, review, and validate Preventive Maintenance (PM) Plans, notifications, and work orders Create, update and review maintenance procedures / work instructions Review completed PMs for accuracy and completion, as needed, and verify no immediate further action is required; maintain and update appropriate PM plans and work instructions Support Obsolescence and Long-Range Plans, which includes identification of Bad Actor equipment and development of mitigation plans (i.e. AMS Site Initiatives, SIS/DCS, PLCs, and governor systems, etc) Develop and forecast spending plan in the maintenance expense budget (i.e. MCI, RELU, and OESEP) Support capital project organization in developing scope, participate in detailed design, and testing and execution phases of projects Provide guidance of obsolescence reviews of stocked warehouse items Assist in development of instrumentation turnaround scope Assist the I&E Reliability Engineer in creating / Updating and Reviewing Preventive Maintenance (PM) Plans Participate in formal investigation teams as required Lead and support informal investigations for issues involving instrumentation systems Participate in weekly production meetings with Operations and other support teams Follow Outside Repairs Ensure Data Management Systems are updated accordingly (i.e. SAP, Documentum, Instrument Spec Sheets, Controlled Drawings and Documents) Perform discipline specific training for instrument technicians, engineers, and operations Lead IEA T/A execution scope, planning, and coordination    Qualifications Associates Degree in instrumentation related discipline Technical expertise of instrumentation and instrumented systems A minimum of 8years relevantexperience, 10years or morepreferred   Competencies Commitment to GoalZERO Good verbal and written communication skills Good leadership and organizational skills Self-motivation and high initiative Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams Innovative thinking to solve complex issues Technical understanding of unit processes Good computing skills 68604

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
