Office Manager

osition Summary                               Directs general business operations of the project's administrative functions and administrative personnel for the project.   Required Skills Key Tasks and Responsibilities                            Perform work directly related to assist in running the project office that can include finance, accounting, budgeting, computer network, insurance, purchasing, advertising, safety, human resources, and similar activities Analyzes internal processes, recommends, and implements procedural or policy changes to improve operations Communicates regularly with vendors, subcontractors, and others outside the organization associated with project and non-project related work Plan, administer, and control budgets for equipment and supplies Outlines work and sets goals and deadlines for clerical office staff Prepare periodic reports and presentations Assume additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management Travel as required to attend, but not limited to, meetings, site visits, training, etc. Required Experience Skills and Abilities Ability to work well in a non-structured environment Demonstrates the ability and behavior necessary to lead others in accomplishing individual and team goals Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database management Strong organizational skills Strong oral and spoken communication skills Business-oriented, strategic mindset Education/Experience BA/BS in Business, Management Science, or related study Minimum 5-years office management experience Previous experience in a heavy civil construction environment required Experience with ERP and Data Management Systems strongly preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
